    BUSINESS PURPOSE

The purpose of this activity is to prepare a set of matrices that show the relationship of logical functions to: external enterprises, objects, systems, and information requirements. These matrices will be reviewed with management in Activity H as part of the phase deliverables.

    OVERVIEW

The purpose of the matrices is to communicate to management the elements affecting the functions and what information is required to perform the function. They also make an interesting point of discussion in terms of the "objects" and systems that are shared within the enterprise.

The matrices are assembled based on the pertinent resource descriptions: FE, FD, IR and System resources.

    STEPS IN EXECUTION
