    BUSINESS PURPOSE

The purpose of this activity is to review the computer procedure test results to assure all computer procedure objectives have been met.

    OVERVIEW

When the Computer Procedure Designer is satisfied that the Computer Procedure meets all specifications and requirements, the test results are reviewed with Systems Engineering (the sub-system designer), Quality Assurance, Project Management, and Systems Resource Management. Systems Engineering and Quality Assurance assure that the design specifications have been met. Project Management and Systems Resource Management verify that the phase has been successfully concluded.

After the review is completed, the procedure test data and test results are filed in the Technical Library. This will allow the test materials to be used in the future for any procedure maintenance or modification.

    STEPS IN EXECUTION

    1. Software Engineering reviews the procedure test results with the Sub-System Designer and obtains agreement that the Sub-System design requirements have been met.

    2. Software Engineering files the procedure test data and test results in the Technical Library.

    3. Software Engineering closes the phase and forwards project documentation to the Technical Library for filing.
