The purpose of this activity is to review the sub-system test results to assure all objectives have been met.  

OVERVIEW

When the sub-system designer is satisfied that the sub-system meets all specifications and requirements, the test results are reviewed with Systems Engineering (the system designer), DP Operations, User Management, Quality Assurance, Project Management, Systems Resource Management, and Data Resource Management. The purpose of the review is to assure that the design specifications have been met and that the phase has been successfully concluded.  

STEPS IN EXECUTION

1. Systems Engineering reviews the sub-system test results with the system designer and obtains agreement that the system design requirements have been met.

2. Systems Engineering files the sub-system test data and test results in the Technical Library.

3. Systems Engineering closes the phase and forwards project documentation to the Technical Library for filing.
