TERMS OF USE (ABOUT THIS FILE)

The "PRIDE" documentation herein contained is packaged as electronic media (hereinafter the "Product") and subject to the following terms of use:

    1. "PRIDE" is an integrated product consisting of methodologies and techniques for Information Resource Management (IRM). Its purpose is to provide guidance and instruction for the design, development, and management of information resources (data, systems, and business components). The physical embodiment of the Product consists of computer files (HTML & JPG files) that can be freely used by any organizational entity or individual (hereinafter "PRIDE" User). MBA opted for a web-based implementation of this product as it is perhaps the most universally applicable approach available on computer platforms.

By going public with "PRIDE", it is hoped that this will become an industry-wide standard. This is MBA's contribution to the industry. As such, this file can be freely copied and redistributed as desired. Further, the text and graphics included in the Product can be printed as desired by the "PRIDE" User provided that the copyright and trademark notations contained herein are faithfully observed. If you are going to use the "PRIDE" forms in-house, you may add your own corporate logo to the form but you must maintain the "PRIDE" logo and trademark, along with the copyright notation at the bottom of the form.

    2. The Product's computer files and resultant documentation are copyrighted and the exclusive proprietary property of MBA. The "PRIDE" User acquires no right to the Product except to use it as described.

    3. The "PRIDE" User shall not reverse-engineer, reverse compile (decompile), or disassemble any parts of the electronic media. Any variations of the electronic media, such as a new or different electronic format, may only be produced with the expressed written consent of M. Bryce & Associates (MBA) and must observe the "PRIDE" trademark and copyright notation. Should a "PRIDE" User wish to produce a custom version of the electronic media to suit their organizational needs, they must execute a separate agreement with MBA.

    4. The Product is being provided on an "as is" basis. The "PRIDE" User uses it at his/her own discretion. In no event shall MBA, or any person or firm acting on behalf of MBA, be liable for any damages including without limitation any lost profits, lost savings, or other incidental or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use the Product, even if MBA has been advised of the possibility of such damages or for any claim by any other party.

    5. "PRIDE" is an acronym for PRofitable Information by DEsign - through phased planning and control. "PRIDE" and "Information Factory" are the registered trademarks of MBA. All other trademarks both marked and unmarked belong to their respective companies.

    6. Copyright © 1971-2008 M. Bryce & Associates (MBA). All rights reserved.

The examples contained herein include the names of fictional companies and people. Any relation to any organization or any person living or dead is strictly coincidental.
